Looking for some Hunter Builds? It can be really frustrating figuring out which are the best hunter builds to go with, especially when you come across sites that just spam a bunch of random builds you can try. We don’t need 20 different Hunter Builds, we just need a few of the BEST builds.
After much searching though, I was able to find some of the best hunter builds for leveling a hunter as well as for PVP and Raid purposes and have laid them out for you here…

For now, lets go over hunter leveling builds, this is the most powerful build you can go with for minimal downtime… 41/20/0:

This build will also fare well for Arena or PVP, however you may opt to change it over to **41/7/23** to strengthen your stamina and improve survivability:
Beast Mastery: Put the 41 points in as mentioned above…
Marksmanship: Lethal Shots = 5/5, Careful Aim = 3/3,
Survival: Improved Tracking = 2/5, Hawk Eye = 3/3, Entrapment = 3/3, Survival Instincts = 2/2, Survivalist = 5/5, Scatter Shot = 1/1, Survival Tactics = 1/2, Lock and Load = 3/3, Hunter Vs. Wild = 3/3
Now after I had done all the above research on hunter builds, I began implementing the above build for leveling my hunter. What I found though was that things were not progressing as I expected…
I was leveling SO DAMN SLOW!
I couldn’t understand it, here I had researched the best hunter builds and found a powerful hunter leveling spec, but I was leveling so slowly ever since I hit level 15…
So anyway, what I did next was find one of my buddies in my guild who’s really into power leveling and he, in not so many words, called me a noob for not even using a proper leveling guide. He mentioned that he had been using the Zygor leveling guide to level a hunter as well as a shaman, druid and warrior, and that if I’m not using something like this, I’m wasting my time, so I had a look..

What I found after my research was that this guide was an in-game add-on that placed a green arrow in front of your character which points you to which quests you need to complete, which monsters you need to attack and when and where to turn in your quests. By following it, you’re automatically leveling as fast as possible.
You also see a dialogue box which gives you more detailed instructions. So you may see:
Kill 5 Bloodspore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (24,32)
Obtain 10 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (31,42)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok
I found that after using this I was able to drastically improve my efficiency while leveling, especially when I used this with the 1st of the above hunter builds. It wasn’t perfect though, I had some issues with it:
CONS:
- At one time they had this in-game guide in HTML format which was useful, they have since removed the HTML guide though.
- They should give more video demonstrating how to do the hardest quests as well as some more class specific leveling info.
PROS:
- You get a Map Mod which shows you on your mini-map, visually, what you need to do next to level up quickly.
- You also have the large green arrow to follow.
- You won’t get banned, this isn’t a hack.
- This is not just a hunter leveling guide, you can use it for other classes.
